About HRTSAbout HRTSThe Hollywood Radio and Television Society is an organization of West Coast executives from the networks, stations, studios, production companies, advertisers, ad agencies, cable companies, media companies, legal firms, publicity agencies, talent and management agencies, performers, services, suppliers and allied fields. HRTS was chartered in 1947 as a non-profit corporation of the State of California. HRTS Newsmaker Luncheons have become the largest physical forums for the Hollywood creative community since that time. More than 600 top execs as well as 36 major entertainment companies are represented iwithin the HRTS membership President of the HRTS is Chris Silbermann, Co-President ICM. HRTS Executive Director is Dave Ferrara. Mr. Ferrara, who has been with HRTS since 1999, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and strategic planning of the organization's current and future activities, including expanding membership, creating more industry programs and increasing corporate participation. Mr. Ferrara is also Executive Producer of all HRTS events and activities. Most recently, Mr. Ferrara was the event producer/marketing manager for HRTS and oversaw production for the HRTS Newsmaker Luncheons as well as other production and marketing initiatives. Members receive discounts on newsmaker luncheons and other HRTS events, full access to the HRTS Online Community, exclusive HRTS "Members-Only events/activities, listing in the HRTS Publication "The HRTS Annual", early notification of all events, and the satisfaction of supporting the industry's premier forum for networking and information exchange.
